Mario is one of the most famous (and profitable) brands in the world. The franchise has been around for a long, but with the arrival of Super Mario Bros. in 2023, it looks like it's finally getting its mojo back. This film is a huge chance for Nintendo to make up for the 1993 live-action film starring the brothers (which, to be fair, wasn't terrible, but wasn't great either). It will also introduce the brothers to a new audience outside of the gaming world, who may be interested enough to give mario games a try and discover what all the fuss is about.
