In 1969, the Burquitlam Lions Club and then Mayor of Coquitlam, L.J. (Jimmy) Christmas, envisioned a welcoming space for seniors. By February 1971, their vision became a reality with the opening of L.J. Christmas Apartments, and today, we continue to build on this legacy. Our volunteer Board of Directors proudly maintains the building to ensure it's a home for seniors for decades to come.
